Day 1
Wow, what an early start! It was made much easier by the amazing weather - see some lovely pics from the boat.
Travel plans were very smooth, the class have been excellent - we were even complemented on our polite behaviour in the ice-cream shop, we were told it was obvious we were from Orkney because our pupils were so nice.
We arrived at the centre at half twelve and got stuck into our lunches, then we were shown to our rooms. Everyone seems happy, there is plenty of room and the common room is nice and cosy.
We have played lots of fun team building games, and even managed to fit in a wee water fight to cool down. The temperature is unreal! It seems odd to be in Scotland, and wishing for cooler weather.
We all had a nice tea together and afterwards the group went for a nice long walk and ended up at the near by loch, those who felt like it had some 'splashy splashy' as we now call it.
It is now after half nine and we have had some hot chocolate and muffins, hoping that this will settle us for bed time (not that I need to settle! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)
