Nethybridge Day 3 Report
In the morning we went on the Zipwire, which involved climbing up a high tower, stepping off a platform and whizzing through the trees and across a lake. Ronan said it was ‘immense’ and the best zipwire he’d ever done. Andrew and Michael said ‘It was scary when you jumped off, but was great fun as you flew down’. Sam S said ‘It was awesome and amazing, and I wish I could have another go’
After a break we went on the Adventure Course which involved climbing and balancing over different obstacles. In the afternoon we took part in orienteering around the grounds, racing in teams to identify the most photos. After swimming, dinner, 'Timeout' and supper, we watched the film 'School of Rock’ on the Big Screen in the Theatre.
Nethybridge Day 2 Report
After breakfast we began the morning activities with a video presentation about the John Muir Award, which we are hoping too achieve while we are away. Then we went skiing on the dry slope, where we practised different exercises to help us stop and turn, and various stunts that included falling over a lot and ‘wiping’ one another out. Everybody did very well and had great fun.
In the afternoon we completed an obstacle course that demanded lots of different skills to accomplish - strength, coordination, balance and teamwork in particular. We all enjoyed a game of handball in the swimming pool, followed by burger and chips in the dining hall. After a lot of lively dancing and games during ‘Timeout’, we retired to our chalets for a look at the day’s video and photos.

Nethybridge Day 1 Report
Everyone arrived safely at Nethybridge after a long but enjoyable trip on the boat and bus, stopping at Capaldi’s in Brora for an ice cream on the way.
After a tour of the building we settled into our chalets and
then had a very crowded, 20 a side game of football with the other school from
Portlethen in
Everyone ate well at the evening meal which was followed by ‘Timeout’, a time together with both schools, involving disco dancing, games and a biblical presentation in the Theatre Lounge.
After supper everyone went to their chalets and had a good night’s sleep, though some people were up rather early.
